Three items I am currently lusting over at the sale at the Outnet. First, Christopher Kane's gel-filled Pvc clutch. I've been eyeing this clutch ever since it came out, but couldn't justify paying 1,000 bucks for something I had had in my schoolbag back in elementary school. But with the sudden drop in price...I might reconsider. Vivienne Westwood. Oh how I love you. This Vivienne Westwood Anglomania plaid wool skirt is to die for. I have yet to own any of her clothing apart from my collection of jewelry from her. If I had to start somewhere, I'd probably start with this skirt. Last,T by Alexander Wang Jersey tank dress. I'm not one to wear dresses but I think this will look perfect with a chunky knit over it. I'll probably be spending the whole day at my internship to make up my mind about a possible splurge.

Come to me love

I haven't been this excited about a bag since the Alexander Wang Rocco (which I must shamefully admit to owning a replica. sorry. poor college student). Proenza Schouler's PS11 scores high on my never ending wishlist. I mean, just take a look at that buckle! Someone restrain me from using up my graduation money on this beauty!

I haven't been able to sit down and blog lately since school ended. My graduation was yesterday, where I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of friends and family who came out to congratulate me. Don't know what I'd do without the people closest to me. I can honestly say that the four years at college were one of the best years of my life. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me. Been busy running around L.A with So since we started this internship together. More details to follow.

So's barfday

What I was wearing : H&M rose gold cuff, vintage black top, f21 high wasted black shorts, Wasteland choker, Jeffrey Campbell black Roscoes.

A bunch of our friends celebrated So's birthday yesterday. Was supposed to be a fight club themed party but only a handful of people stuck with the theme. Basically starved the whole night so I could eat at the party, and DAMN. I am so glad I did. The food and drinks were amazing thanks to Dom. Great company and great food distracted me from the freezing weather (I was wearing shorts).Didn't want to put up all the pictures that I took since I just sent them over to So. She'll probably have a more extensive post on her blog so check it out @ soyunum.blogspot.com
Happy Barfday So, and thanks for hosting!

p.s I might be selling that choker I got from Wasteland. Only wore it out once, and I fear it looks too much like I have a fetish for bondage and the like.

OOTD

This was last week and it's been in my drafts so I thought I'd just post it real quick. I need someone to take pictures of my full outfit. Maybe invest in a tripod?

LA Asian Pacific Film Festival 2012

Thanks to my awesome friend So, I got to see the screening of Shanghai Calling starring Daniel Henney and even tuned in a bit for the Q&A after with the director and actors. Here's some pictures of the event. Even though we were dead tired, we managed to catch the midnight show of Dark Shadows afterwards.どうぞ

Muse for the night

Some photos I took of my lovely friend So after a much needed korean bbq + milk tea date. She got a new camera for her birthday coming up soon, so I drove us to the sculpture garden. Will definitely be going back in the future when there's enough light out.

Ready for spring

Zara bleached denim, River Island oxfords, vintage camo jacket
Went to the Grove and picked up the jeans I've been eyeing from Zara. Definitely a more affordable counterpart to the dries van noten jeans. Since I came all the way out to LA, I thought I'd go shopping on Melrose. Picked up these brand new oxfords with gold hardware from River Island at Wasteland, and this vintage camo jacket that I've been hunting down. Successful shopping day indeed.

Just had a mild heart attack whilst shopping online on Zara. I've been looking for a jacket with leather sleeves and Zara has three (although the one on the right is out of stock already). What made purchasing a nightmare was the fact that Zara named two of the jackets with the same name. I thought I had bought the wrong one when I intended to buy the jacket on the left but it turns out I got the one I wanted. PHEW. Putting the purchasing nightmare aside, I'm jittering with anticipation for my jacket to arrive! I know I may seem crazy for buying a jacket like this when its getting warmer here in SoCal but I couldn't resist.
++ I'm going to the Grove tomorrow to do some in store shopping at Zara (what? they're seriously upping their game this season). Hoping to get the bleached denim jeans or their leopard shirt with cute studs on the collar that I've been seeing everywhere lately.

New York or Hawaii?

After four hectic years, I am finally graduating in three weeks. Summer is so close that I already brought out my trusty spf 100 out of hibernation. So where to go? I'm really looking forward to London but will definitely have to make travel plans AFTER the olympics. So, that leaves two options. New York, or Hawaii? That one week I spent in Waikiki last summer was heaven. On the other hand, I've never been to New York. I want to see it all. Statue of Liberty, Shake Shack, Ground Zero, etc..the list goes on and on.
Sand under my feet, or the big apple?
Hmm.. decisions decisions

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Just finished reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor last night. It was a pretty interesting read, but I have to admit it I had a bit of difficulty getting past the first half of the book. I felt like nothing was really happening in regards to plot but then BAM. You're hit with a crazy twist and everything that had happened up till then just fell into a great puzzle piece and it just fit so well. Definitely an original story. Angels, chimaeras, rebirth, etc. Will be on the lookout for the next book in the series for sure.

After numerous failed attempts at choosing a witty 'cool' blog name, I finally settled on seven0seven. I thought the title appropriate, seeing as 707 is my favorite number (if anybody knows the significance of this number, kudos to you). I do hope that I stick with this blog. I made this on a whim during class in the hopes that I would post about fashion, books I'm currently obsessed with (Daughter of Smoke and Bone anyone?), along with the occasional rant here and there.
Until then, here's a clip of Jessie J. Amazing.
